Management team

Dan Frost - MD

With 20 years + experience of ERP, IT and web technologies, Dan is hugely experienced and able to advise on all aspects of technology in business.

Dan's background was originally in developing MRP and accounts systems then spent a few years in IT management for a division of the Daily Mail Group. He went on to become CTO of Northcliffe Electronic Publishing (also a division of the Daily Mail) before setting up Adaptive in 2005.

Personal interests include keeping 2 kids, a wife and a dog entertained, Derby County, quad biking and all forms of motor sport.

Scott Paton – Client Services

Scott’s background is in client service with global advertising agencies, a career that has spanned New Zealand, Europe, Asia and Africa. His focus has always been on understanding client’s business issues and identifying multi-disciplinary teams to deliver effective solutions. Most recently as Global Business Director for Diageo at Saatchi & Saatchi.

Scott is also heavily involved in Adaptive's sister company, Number1 Search Marketing.

Matt Burke BA Hons - development

Matt has a extremely broad skill set including .NET, PHP, XML, MS SQL, MySQL, javscript, jquery and almost every other web technology we throw at him. Matt's fundamental approach to technology is to use the most appropriate to the given task.

Matt's personal interests include campaigning on local issues, occasional visits to Port Vale, graphic design, reading, rearing three young kids, and when time allows the odd bit of painting (water colours mostly). He's also the webmaster of local community site, Stoke-on-Trent's My Tunstall, which he runs his Residents Association and Neighbourhood Watch from, and helps others from the local area to do the same. Matt tries to be at the pinnacle of Hyperlocal Stoke-on-Trent.
