Adaptive review of 2017
Steve Allen

It seems only a short time ago that we were writing our "Hello 2017" blog post and yet, in the blink of an eye, here we are with the year almost at an end!

It's been another brilliant, busy year here at Adaptive, with a range of exciting projects delivered and some fantastic new clients welcomed into the fold. It's also been the year that we expanded our client portfolio with the acquisition of another Drupal agency and also fully embraced Drupal 8 as our Drupal version of choice for new projects going forward.

As we get ready to break out the mince pies and cheese boards for Christmas, we're taking time out to reflect on a few of our Adaptive highlights of 2017.

We've delivered and launched a number of major development projects throughout the year, ranging from the functional to the creative.

We were delighted to launch the brand new websites for international ventilation specialist, Vent-Axia. Having worked with Adaptive since 2008, Vent-Axia turned to us once again for brand new Drupal websites for their UK, German and Dutch markets.

Other new projects delivered during this year included the Food Growing Schools: London website for Garden Organic and a brand new Drupal 8 website for the Joint Office of Gas Transporters.

We've also been working hard to complete several other projects which will be launching in early 2018, including a brand new website and CRM integration for Christian media organisation, UCB, and a brand new design for the Access Agriculture website. We'll also be launching a new customer portal for a world-renowned construction materials company too.

Work is also underway on further new Drupal 8 website builds for Visit Lichfield and Earthmind. These will take us into the new year and are expected to launch in early Spring. Keep an eye on our blog for more details on these coming soon.

As well as the numerous new build projects this year, we've also had another busy year delivering our fantastic support and development services to all our clients. More than 75 businesses, charities and other organisations now benefit from our Drupal support services and we've been delighted to welcome new clients on-board too during the year. We've also enjoyed another year of providing Drupal support for charities across the UK and beyond too.

We've also started early work for three brand new clients who we'll be supporting fully from January onwards. These are the Institute of Ismaili Studies, data visualisation company Iconics UK and well-known UK charity, Mencap.

One of our business highlights of 2017 was Adaptive's first-ever acquisition of another Drupal agency. Our purchase of Ethical Studios over the summer saw us taking over the support and development of websites for all of Ethical's clients, which include a number of European charities and NGOs.

Looking back at all that's been achieved during 2017, it's a testament to the amazing team that we have here at Adaptive and the brilliant work they deliver week in, week out. A huge thanks goes out to every one of them. Thanks also to our loyal clients, old and new, for their support throughout the year. Here's to another fantastic year working together in 2018!

All that's left is for us to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and successful 2018, from all of us here at Adaptive!
