Whatever your reason for needing support for your Drupal website, Adaptive can help to improve and enhance your current site, making it work better for your customers and also for you as a business. Take a look at the case studies below for a couple of examples of how Adaptive have supported clients with their Drupal platforms.
If your existing supplier requires more in-depth technical assistance, or your business needs a more professional agency to work with, then we may just be the answer. Adaptive's Drupal Support team can work alongside your existing development team to deliver enhancements to your Drupal site. As part of the process, we can also share our knowledge with your in-house team for future reference. Alternatively, Adaptive are equally happy to take over the full support/development of your Drupal website from the current team/suppliers if you feel this is more suitable to your particular situation.
We provide on-going Drupal support to organisations such as Vent Axia, Natural England, Homes & Communities Agency and Northcliffe Newspapers, part of the Daily Mail Group. References are available from any of our customers by request.
We feel that our wealth of technical expertise and experience of operating within, and for, large multi-nationals makes our position quite unique as one of the leading Drupal agencies in the UK. In addition to our own expertise though, our Drupal support offering can be further supplemented by our partnership with the Drupal commercial support organisation, Acquia. Acquia was formed by the creator of Drupal, Dries Buytaert and provide support to the US Government and Sony amongst others.
We appreciate that every client's Drupal support needs are different and, as such, offer a number of support packages to suit all situations. Whether you require a one-off block of work completing or are looking for longer-term, ongoing support, Adaptive can work to suit your needs.
Individual blocks of support work can be ordered at a rate of £80 per hour. We will discuss all your requirements with you and provide a free no-obligation quote for the work required to deliver the enhancements for you. Alternatively, Adaptive can be engaged to provide ongoing support as part of a monthly support contract at a discounted hourly rate from £60 per hour.

Case study one
Adaptive were engaged by Natural England/Walking for Health (WfH) to redevelop their existing website in Drupal. As part of the brief, WfH project manager Daniel Kemp was keen to understand Drupal himself in more detail to enable WfH to be able to make straight-forward modifications to the website themselves ongoing, reserving their support hours from Adaptive for the more technically-advanced requirements.
Adaptive developed the Drupal build with this in mind, configuring the CMS and relevant permissions to give selected WfH users the appropriate level of access to be able to modify the platform beyond the standard CMS settings. We also provided training on the use of the advanced settings within Drupal and were on hand to provide ongoing help and support as WfH familiarised themselves further with the platform.
Ongoing, Adaptive provide regular Drupal support to WfH to ensure the platform continues to evolve to the needs of both WfH and their users.
Case study two
Adaptive were approached by a client who had a existing Drupal-based website which had been built by another developer. The client found the CMS difficult to use and was frustrated that the site didn't deliver a number of their requirements. However, the client had spoken to one of their contacts, an existing Drupal client of Adaptive's, who had reported a completely different and wholly positive experience in using the Drupal site built for them by Adaptive.
Realising that the issues lay more in the way their Drupal installation has been designed and implemented, rather than the Drupal platform itself, the client contacted us here at Adaptive to discuss what improvements we could make to the site.
Working together, we identified a number of issues with the Drupal site and were able to recommend a series of improvements to the site via better use of Drupal modules such as Views, Imagecache and WYSIWYG to enhance the admin user's experience with the Drupal CMS.
