Appeal success leads to new digital station launch for UCB
We've been working with our client, United Christian Broadcasters (UCB), in recent months to support their campaign to launch a second radio service on the DAB Digital network.
One of the UK's leading Christian media organisations, UCB broadcast on radio, TV and online and also produce several popular print publications including 'The Word for Today' and 'WORD 4U 2DAY'.
UCB has an existing radio station - UCB 1 - already available across the UK on the DAB Digital Network and the recent campaign has looked to raise enough funds to be able to launch a second station on DAB, providing an additional service which doubles UCB's ability to reach those who wish to hear its God-centred digital programmes.
In support of the campaign, Adaptive have been proud to work with UCB to help deliver a dedicated Appeal website at give.ucb.co.uk. The site gives visitors an overview of the vision and need for the campaign, in both text and video, along with quick and easy ways to engage with the campaign including signing up for email updates, sharing the appeal on social media and donating securely online.
We're delighted to see that the campaign has been a big success, with UCB 2 Radio being selected as one of only 14 new UK-wide radio stations to receive a licence. UCB 2 launched on the digital airwaves on 29th February. You can also listen online here.
