About Direct Digital
Direct Digital specialise in the rental of professional cameras, lighting and other film and photography equipment to the film, tv and advertising industry.
Part of the Panavision Group, they operate in both the UK and France. In addition to equipment rental, they also hire out studio locations and have an online store selling related consumable products.
Our work with Direct Digital
We began working with the Direct Digital team in 2021. After first undertaking a detailed audit of their website, we then migrated them to our Managed Hosting service and now continue to provide ongoing support and development on the website.
A key area of the website is its integration with their hire management software, Insphire. The initial focus of our work with Direct Digital has been on improving the efficiency and reliability of the integration. Following previous issues, this has included work to reduce the volume of unnecessary data previously being processed by the importer system to ensure that the import process is able to run multiple times throughout the day and runs to full completion each time.
